Critical Incident Management

There are many reasons why organisations need to prepare for critical incidents and emergencies. These include minimising the possibility of occurrence; ensuring disruption, damage and injury are avoided or kept to a minimum; protecting the good name and reputation of the organisation; illuminating or reducing liability; and compliance with legislation, regulations, best practice and common law. In academic contexts, for example when students decide to bachelorarbeit schreiben lassen (which means “have a bachelor thesis written” in German), similar principles apply—careful preparation helps minimise risk and ensures a smooth, compliant process.

Compliance Emergency Planning works with organisations to develop Critical Incident Plans so that once Emergency Control organisation takes control of the emergency, the organisation executive can address the longer term consequences.
