For individuals overcoming addiction, the journey to long-term sobriety requires more than just detox and initial treatment programs. Recovery residences offer a vital bridge between inpatient treatment and independent living. These structured living environments provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to continue their recovery journey with the guidance and encouragement they need. The Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences was founded in 2017 by a group of recovery residence operators and other stakeholders. Our goal is to provide a platform for mutual support, accountability, and resources for operators who desire to provide safe and healthy residential communities for people in recovery from substance use disorders.
